Out she comes.

Stripped down for engine change. As I recall this was
Roy Whittaker’s aircraft.

Fifty-five gallon gasoline drums were put to many uses
such as engine stands and work platforms.

Engines were Rolls Royce “Merlins” built
by the Packard Motor Car Company, USA.

Shop truck. S/Sgt. Viscaino working on air compressor.

Our tanker. On rough rolling terrain, sometimes the
rear end would drag. This could tear off the air brake
terminals at the end of the frame.

By the looks of the trucks, this is Operations tent.

Lt. Finkener, Ordnance Office, always set up this machine
gun.

Sometimes the trucks got stuck.
